The brief
Castle Framing & Gallery is a boutique picture framing service and exhibition space. The challenge was to develop a cohesive brand identity that reflects both sides of the business: craftsmanship in framing and curation. The brand needed to communicate a tone of voice that is refined, trustworthy, and artistic, appealing to customers seeking bespoke framing as well as visitors engaging with the gallery experience.


At the heart of the identity is a brandmark that unites three key elements: the letterform ‘F’, a picture frame, and subtle structural details inspired by a castle. The result is a distinctive symbol that is both refined and memorable.


The wider visual identity builds on the brandmark with a carefully curated colour palette and supporting typography. These elements establish a system that feels both refined and artistic, while remaining approachable.



Applied across print, digital, and environmental touchpoints, the identity demonstrates flexibility and consistency. It reinforces Castle Framing’s dual role as a trusted framing service and a contemporary gallery.
